Error Code
SnA error code — Balboa spa
Always cut power at the breaker before opening the spa pack or touching wiring. Spa equipment runs at 120/240V and can be lethal. If you are unsure, hire a licensed spa technician.
SnA is a connection fault, not necessarily a dead sensor: the board lost contact with sensor A. Corroded pins and loose connectors cause most of these, so start at the board end of the harness.
What SnA means
Sensor A disconnected from the control board.
Diagnose in order
- Power-cycle at the breaker — this clears the majority of communication errors
- Inspect the topside cable for kinks, water damage or corroded pins
- Reseat the topside connector at the main board
- Replace the topside cable before the panel; replace the board only as a last resort
