FL1 Spa Error — What It Means and How to Fix It
FL1 means your spa is detecting low water flow. The most common cause is a dirty filter cartridge or a blocked circulation pump impeller.
How to diagnose FL1
- Check and clean (or replace) your filter cartridge — this fixes FL1 most of the time.
- Inspect the circulation pump intake for blockages or debris.
- Test the flow switch with a multimeter for continuity when the pump runs.
- If steps 1–3 pass, replace the circulation pump or flow switch.
