AOH error code — Gecko spa
Always cut power at the breaker before opening the spa pack or touching wiring. Spa equipment runs at 120/240V and can be lethal. If you are unsure, hire a licensed spa technician.
AOH is about air, not water: the cabinet around the control system got too hot. It shows up in heat waves and when vents are blocked. Persistent AOH cooks boards, so treat airflow seriously.
What AOH means
Ambient overheat — the equipment cabinet is too hot.
Diagnose in order
- Clear vents and airflow around the equipment compartment
- Check the cabinet fan if fitted — replace if seized
- In extreme heat, shade the cabinet; the code clears as temperature falls
